About Us

Kwik Kopy is a local and online provider of printing, copies, signs and apparel for businesses large and small.

Kwik Kopy was established in Salt Lake City in 1992 as part of the world-wide family of Kwik Kopy franchises, founded in Texas in the 1960’s by Bud Hadfield. Since that time, our location has grown from a staff of three and a humble 2,000 sq. ft. retail storefront in Midvale to our current home in West Jordan featuring a staff of 15+ and a facility over 20,000 sq. ft.

Our Leadership

Mac & Pat
1992 - 2006

Gordon ("Mac") and Pat MacFarlane opened Kwik Kopy Printing #1405 in Midvale, Utah in the summer of 1992 and owned and operated it until the end of 2006, when they sold the shop to their key employee, Danny Oblad, and retired.

Danny
1992 - Present

Daniel ("Danny") Oblad started work for Mac and Pat in the fall of 1992, having previously worked for Kinko's. Over the years, he helped Mac and Pat build their Kwik Kopy franchise from scratch to be the successful company it is today. On January 1, 2007, Danny took ownership of the store.

Curtis
2011 - Present

In 2011, Curtis Cheney was hired to take over some of Danny's responsibilities and help grow the company. He was instrumental in helping Kwik Kopy to purchase a beautiful building in West Jordan with room to grow. At the beginning of 2020, Curtis became co-owner of Kwik Kopy with Danny.

At Kwik Kopy, our motto is to Make Life Better. This includes our customers, vendors, staff and community. We accomplish this by always striving to have the best possible customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, state-of-the-art equipment capable of producing the highest quality print, and having integrity with everyone we meet. We constantly innovate and adapt to the ever-changing world of printing. We place an emphasis on sustainability and recycling.

Our Vision

We know that in today's world, convenience is paramount. That's why we work hard to make ordering printing even easier, faster and more affordable than before. Our online business portals allow customers to purchase their specific branded content online, see their purchase history, and customize their products with a real-time preview. We also work closely with our community to sustain and build up other local small businesses, and to support education and non-profit. We understand that when we help others succeed, we succeed.
